Krytox™ High Performance Lubricants' base oil is composed of fluorine, carbon, and oxygen (and known as PFPE, or perfluoropolyether), and formulated in many variants by adding thickeners, solvents, and additives that effectively protect moving parts from corrosion, wear, and extreme loads. Therefore, our products offer a much longer usable life compared to typical hydrocarbon-based oils and greases. This ultimately helps customers increase their productivity and decrease their costs by lessening the amount of downtime incurred during relubrication.
